Eskimo Recordings brings you ‘The Green Collection’, the third installment in a new compilation series on Eskimo based around colours. It’s the follow-up to ‘The Pink Collection’ and ‘The Blue Collection’, the lauded first two chapters in this enterprising series.
Horixon are London based outfit Andrew Armstrong and Joe Sambrooke. For their first few tracks they asked house vocalist legend Robert Owens and the enigmatic Jacques Teal to do the honours. The fit with Robert Owens on ‘Brighter Day’ was perfect, updating his delivery to something modern, as well as keeping it classic and referencing strongly the sound of early house.
This three track EP sees the German pair Satin Jackets at their absolute best starting with the wholly uplifting and epic ‘Sunrise In Paradise’ moving into the deeper disco delight ‘Gelee Royal’ and ending on the more thought provoking ‘Fall Apart’ featuring Nashville, TN based producer and vocalist Patrick Baker.
Lust For Wrong is the debut release for Vinny Villbass on Eskimo Recordings. This haunting house cut features the vocal funk from the renowned Ost (from Oslo duo Ost & Kjex) and comes with a Finnebassen remix.
NTEIBINT is the alter ego of the talented Greek producer George Bakalakos. Following EP’s on Bang Gang and Kitsuné and remixes for Jamie Lidell and Alex Gopher, Eskimo Recordings is proud to present his Never Without You EP.
